Hoo boy, I really do love this character. I try to draw her -And her body guard, coming soon >:3 - every year, as a sorta temperature check on my general skills. I redesign them and try and top my previous work. Last year, my attempts weren’t good enough to warrant showing anyone, so this feels a lot more triumphant for me.

Anyway, the character herself I imagine to be the leader of some kind of organized crime ring. She’s incredibly intelligent and outsmarts everyone she deals with, and is known for ruthless brutality.

Certain parts of her design stay consistent nearly every time she’s painted, the bald head most notably, as well as the fur collar, and faded tattoos. In fact, when I showed this illustration to one of my close friends, He immediately got creeped out, saying she was terrifying. I see that as a win.

Last notable thing here is the glow layer I added. If you add a Glow Dodge and an Add Glow, and use a really soft air brush, it can get you some really good effects for glow. Thats how I got some of the highlights like on her cheek, eyes and the bright spot on the fur to look so good.
