Jevai & Liyanna
Jevai here’s got to be my second oldest character. I remember his first drawing was on lined notebook paper when I should have been paying attention in class when I was 12 years old. His primary traits that stuck the same all this time is the blue beanie and the wavy white hair. Eagle eyed viewers will notice he’s actually the guy I draw every year. This is the first time he’s been cemented as an actual character rather than just a design.
And this is Liyanna. Jevai has always had a female companion, even back when he was first created, but she’s looked vastly different throughout the years. Originally she looked similar to him, with the blue beanie and longer white hair. Liyanna as a character I think was designed a couple years afterwards, but had no relation to him. (I think she was actually for a completely different project that never saw the light of day.) But they were put together for the first time in 2021, around the time I decided these were the two characters that I’d draw yearly.
