O-Builder

Just after I graduated, I was hired to do some freelance work for a mobile application, O-Builder. It’s designed to be a go-between for contractors, employers and suppliers in construction. The logo was already complete, I just had to make some variations and minor touch ups.

The app also had a color theme and a minimalist design. For that, they had me design some logos for different parts of the software. Construction, Electrical, Water, Infrastructure and Gas. These 5 logos were what I came up with.

They also needed a quick animation for the splash screen, something to give their logo a little bit of character. We went back and forth on whether he should rest on a wink or having both eyes open, but ended on this as it was simplest and gave the made the logo feel most human.
